Congratulations to Cleland Gala Day Committee

The motion

That the Parliament notes the success of the 2022 Cleland Gala, which was held on 27 August 2022; understands that this is the first gala in over 30 years; further understands that this event had been initially scheduled for 2020, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic was postponed; believes that the family day out had lots to see and do, with various stalls, bands and performances for all ages; recognises the generosity of the local community and businesses that helped ensure the event went ahead, and thanks all volunteers for their hard work, dedication and meticulous planning over the last two years to organise this community event.
