The motion

That the Parliament recognises that pupils from Kilpatrick Additional Support for Learning School are engaging in new outdoor learning activities as part of a partnership with the Scout Association; understands that the school has established scouting groups with pupils in S1, S2 and S3, and that 60 pupils have successfully gone through the formal process of becoming members of the 1st Kilpatrick Scouts, as well as one former pupil and two teachers becoming scout leaders; considers that this will have a positive impact on pupils and teachers alike, allowing leaders to support pupils to set realistic and measurable goals to achieve their full physical, intellectual, and social potential, and looks forward to seeing what other exciting opportunities the partnership presents for all involved.
