Gurkha Bar & Restaurant in Musselburgh Wins Best Restaurant at Spice Awards 2022

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the Gurkha Bar & Restaurant in Musselburgh on winning the Best Restaurant in East Scotland at the fourth annual Spice Awards; understands that head chef, Harka Karki, took part in a cook-off before judges at Glasgow City College and was announced the winner at a gala event held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Glasgow; acknowledges that the Spice Awards aim to recognise and reward the best across Indian and Asian cuisine in Scotland; praises the Gurkha Bar & Restaurant on this achievement which, it believes, is a testament of their hard work and dedication to providing great food for all to enjoy, and wishes them all the best in their future endeavours.
