Garelochhead & Roseneath Peninsula First Responders Receive Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Medal

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates John Webb, Hazel Wilkes, Sheena Edwards and Martin Cox of Garelochhead & Roseneath Peninsula on receiving the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Medals for their selfless work as Community First Responders for the area, giving over five years of service; understands that the team administers immediate medical care in the local area until an ambulance arrives; notes that the medal, which is inscribed with the words "My Heart and My Devotion" that refers to The Queen’s speech of 1957, is awarded to serving frontline members of the armed forces, police, fire and ambulance services for their public service, and thanks them for their immense contribution as frontline support volunteers.
