Pretty Mudder Motherwell

The motion

That the Parliament applauds all the woman, men, children and four-legged friends who participated in the Motherwell Pretty Mudder within Strathclyde Park; understands that the course was over 5k with muddy obstacles, and made for all to have fun, where participants climbed, crawled and slipped their way to help tackle cancer; further understands that Race for Life is a series of events which encourage everyone, regardless of age, ability or background to take part, and has become one of the largest fundraising events in the UK, raising over £500 million to date, helping to fund cancer research in all 200 types of cancer; congratulates Cancer Research UK and all those who have helped and participated in the Race for Life since 1994, and thanks the charity, including its fantastic team in Scotland, for its continued work.
