Glasgow Restaurant Wins Best Indian Establishment

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Swadish restaurant in the Merchant City on winning Best Indian Establishment at The Food Awards Scotland; acknowledges that the team, under chef Ajay Kumar, celebrated the win by thanking their loyal customers for their support; understands that it comes just weeks after Swadish took home prizes for Best Fine Dining Restaurant and Chef of the Year for their incredible curries, at the Spice Awards; further understands that, earlier this year, Swadish also won Best Indian Restaurant at the Scottish Entertainment and Hospitality Awards, and notes that The Food Awards Scotland recognised what it considers the hard work and dedication of local establishments with several Glasgow restaurants winning awards.
