Stevenston Post Office Becomes Mobility Friendly
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the owner of Stevenston Post Office, Robin Wana, for the significant refurbishment to the shop, which can now welcome mobility-restricted customers; understands that the shop underwent a 13-day transformation in order to make it more accessible; further understands that the refurbishment allowed the building to be expanded, which created aisles with 2-metre wide spacing; believes that Robin decided to make the changes to the shop after he noticed that many local customers could not continue to use it, either because they used wheelchairs or mobility scooters; congratulates Robin and all the staff on being inclusive, and wishes him and the business every success in the future.
