Well Done Green Lauder

That the Parliament notes Lauder’s success at the Scottish Borders’ inaugural Greener Gateway Community Awards, which saw representatives from towns and villages across the Borders come together to celebrate with eight villages, towns and individual projects recognised overall; understands that the celebration saw community groups and projects commended for their contribution to civic pride across a range of categories, acknowledging their efforts to make their community, vibrant, sustainable and environmentally friendly, with Lauder winning three times in the Large Village, Border Biodiversity and Sustainability categories; believes that this serves as appropriate recognition of the time and effort volunteers in Lauder put towards keeping their town looking vibrant and cared for, and congratulates all involved.
