Pawsitively Purrfect Pet Services Helping Pet Owners During the Cost of Living Crisis
The motion
That the Parliament applauds Christina O’Donnell, owner of Pawsitively Purrfect Pet Services in Port Glasgow, for launching a pet foodbank to help local pet owners through the cost of living crisis; thanks Christina for taking the initiative to try to help owners after, it understands, she started noticing an increased cost for pet food when shopping herself and hearing that rescue centres were receiving animals because people could not afford to feed them any longer; regrets that this type of support is now needed as the cost of living crisis deepens, but hopes that, in time, it will not be required.
