Curry Leaf Indian Restaurant, Ayr

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the Curry Leaf Indian restaurant in Ayr, which has been awarded Curry Takeaway of the Year South West Region and declared as overall winners of all the regions at the Scottish Takeaway Awards 2022; notes that the annual awards ceremony was hosted in Glasgow at the Marriott Hotel on 11 July 2022; understands that the Indian restaurant opened in 2017 and is passionate about providing delicious, high-quality authentic Indian food; further understands that the awards celebrate all top establishments that strive to be different and commend those who deliver great food to their customers; believes that the winners are an outstanding example of excellence whose dedication to be the best has made them stand out among the rest; acknowledges that the Curry Leaf in Ayr was one of 83 finalists from all regions for the category, and wishes husband and wife, Rajinder and Karamjeet Kaur, and their team continued success in the years ahead.
