Chic Brodie

That the Parliament notes the sad passing on 25 September 2022 of the former member, Chic Brodie, who represented the South of Scotland region in Session 4 between 2011 and 2016; further notes that Mr Brodie entered the Scottish Parliament after a long and successful career in business, which he continued after leaving the Parliament; notes that Mr Brodie served on the Economy, Enterprise and Tourism Committee and was an active campaigner on many issues, including the regenerating of Ayr and offshore drilling along the west coast, and expresses its condolences to the family and friends of Mr Brodie for their sad loss.
