North Lanarkshire in Bloom

The motion

That the Parliament recognises winners of the North Lanarkshire In Bloom competition; understands that North Lanarkshire’s green-fingered tenants kept the area blooming over the summer months, showcasing their colourful creations in 2022's North Lanarkshire in Bloom; notes that the competition runs from May to August each year, and saw an increase in entries in 2022; further notes that the 2022 winners were selected from each locality, with a few special commendations awarded in recognition of the positive impact many gardens have in their local and surrounding areas, and congratulates all winners on their successes, notably Motherwell and Wishaw’s residents of the retirement housing complex on Drummond Drive in Wishaw, and Airbles Tower in Motherwell.
