Inverclyde Royal Hospital Top Performer in UK for Training and Education
The motion
That the Parliament applauds Inverclyde Royal Hospital (IRH) on being recognised as having one of the UK’s top performing departments for medical training and education, with recent data from the 2022 General Medical Council’s National Training Survey (NTS) and the Scottish Deanery National Training Survey (STS) identifying the site’s general medicine department in the top 2% of performers across the UK; believes that this feedback reflects the positive experience trainees have at the IRH, which is one of Inverclyde’s major employers, and thanks all the staff at the hospital for their hard work and compassion while working in the NHS.
