Glenboig Development Trust Wins Paths for All Volunteering Award

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the Glenboig Development Trust on its recent award from Paths for All volunteering awards; understands that this award was for the Active Travel Group of the Year for its work on both the walking school bus and community health walks; further understands that the walking school bus reduced a significant number of car journeys each week and encouraged the pupils' development of healthy and sustainable habits; considers that the community health walks have also been beneficial to reducing social isolation, and thanks the Trust for its contribution to the community.
