Susan McDonald, Active Communities
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Susan McDonald on her retirement from Active Communities; understands that, along with co-founder Helen Moir, Ms McDonald formed the running and exercise group Jogging Buddies in Paisley which, in 2009, changed its name to Active Communities to better reflect the range of services it provides to communities all across Renfrewshire; congratulates Susan on leading the development of Station Seven in Johnstone, where a former police station was transformed into Active Communities' new base, which also hosts a food pantry, as well as what it considers other valuable services; wishes Susan well for the future, and thanks her for her contribution to the health and wellbeing of residents across all of Renfrewshire’s communities.
