Clan Cancer Support Raises £50,000 at Annual Fundraising Ball
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Clan Cancer Support for raising £50,000 at its annual fundraising ball; notes that the charity provides emotional and practical support to people affected by cancer across north east Scotland, Moray, Orkney and Shetland; understands that the money raised will help Clan Cancer Support to continue providing free wellbeing and support services to people; believes the charity supports more than 1,200 people every year; notes that the event, which was supported by the Cormack Foundation, was the charity’s first fundraising ball in three years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and thanks all those who participated in the fundraising event, whilst extending best wishes to Clan Cancer Support for future success.
