Team Tender Raises £4,000 for Caithness Charities

The motion

That the Parliament commends Team Tender, a group that signed up for the Glencoe Challenge, which involves a 26.2-mile trek from Glencoe down to the finish at the foot of Ben Nevis; recognises that the team raised £4,000 for several good causes in Caithness after dedicating their challenge to their late friend Donald McWilliam, known to many as Tender, who died suddenly in May 2021, and notes that the team managed to cross the finishing line two hours under the deadline of 12 hours set by the organisers, notching up £4,000 in sponsorship for eight different Caithness charities.
