The motion

That the Parliament congratulates JH Kilt Hire in Grangemouth, Falkirk, on its recent 20 year anniversary; recognises that JH Kilt Hire, which was opened by Jim Healy in 2002, has been supplying Scottish Highland wear to the local community and beyond for two decades, including to many grooms for their wedding, making the store a critical part of countless special days; believes that crucial to the stores longevity has been Jim’s adaptability, knowledge and appreciation of Scottish Highland wear, and his approach towards delivering quality in all areas for his customers, all of which has meant the store has built a local reputation and is seen as highly regarded; understands that the products on offer go beyond kilts and that, during the COVID-19 pandemic, JH Kilt Hire created and sold tartan face masks to fundraise for Strathcarron Hospice, which provided invaluable care to Jim’s late father; congratulates Jim on his 20 years of success providing tartan wear to the local community and beyond; thanks him for his fundraising efforts for Strathcarron Hospice, and wishes him all the best for the future.
