Congratulating National Indian Students and Alumni Union UK on its 10th Anniversary

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates National Indian Students and Alumni Union UK (NISAU) on celebrating its 10th anniversary; understands that NISAU is the oldest and largest pan-national association supporting Indian students and alumni in the UK; further understands that NISAU has won or been nominated for numerous awards, including the PIEoneer Awards, where Chairperson Sanam Arora recently won the Outstanding Contribution to the Industry Award; believes that NISAU provided key support to Indian students during the COVID-19 pandemic, including providing food to over 60,000 students across the UK and India, and wishes NISAU all the best for the future as it continues to support and promote the valuable contributions made by Indian students to Scotland.
