Springfield Gardens Residents Association Secures Grant of £5,310 from the National Lottery Awards for All Fund

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Springfield Gardens Residents Association on securing a grant of £5,310 from the National Lottery Awards for All fund; understands that the funding will be used to help develop a programme of events, to include social and learning sessions; further understands that the programme will be aimed at reducing isolation, increasing links with the local community, and building resilience and confidence; appreciates that this will benefit 55 residents at the Beild Home, in Uddingston, as well as older residents of the local community, and wishes the programme every success as it develops and boosts the local community.
