Celebrating Diwali 2022
The motion
That the Parliament wishes a happy Diwali to all those celebrating both here in the UK and around the world; notes that Diwali will be celebrated on the 24 October 2022; understands that the festival is celebrated by several religions, including Hindus, Sikhs and Jains, and considers that the celebrating communities have provided Scotland with a significant enrichment of its culture.
