Axial Spondyloarthritis and International Bone and Joint Week, 12 to 20 October 2022

That the Parliament acknowledges Axial Spondyloarthritis (axSpA) and International Bone and Joint Week, which runs from 12 to 20 October 2022; notes that axSpA is a type of arthritis and a systemic disease that can cause pain and swelling in the spine and the sacroiliac joint, and recognises and gives thanks to the work of the National Axial Spondyloarthritis Society (NASS) and its Act on Axial SpA Campaign, which aims to reduce the time to diagnose axSpA from eight and a half years to one year and raise awareness of the condition.
