Tiphereth Camphill Community in Edinburgh
The motion
That the Parliament pays tribute to the charity Tiphereth, which runs the Camphill community in Edinburgh; recognises what it considers the valuable work that is done there to support people with learning disabilities, or other support needs, through its residential and day service provisions; understands that through living, learning, and working together, co-workers from across the world, some of whom are volunteers, have come together to recognise the social, cultural, and emotional value they can bring to the lives of the people they support, and considers that this support to some of the most vulnerable people in society is enhanced by the commitment of volunteers from the EU.
