Uddingston Hockey Awarded Gold Accreditation from Hockey Scotland

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Uddingston Hockey Club on receiving Gold Accreditation from Hockey Scotland; understands that Scottish Hockey’s Club Accreditation Programme has been designed to support the work of clubs that have ambitions to be the best that they can be, placing themselves at the heart of their community; notes that Gold Accreditation includes demonstrating a clear club direction, partnership working, developing people and delivering on promises; understands that Uddingston Hockey offers in-school programmes and various youth opportunities, as well as hosting local hockey festivals, to engage the local community; notes that the club has recently employed two full-time community development coaches to meet its community objectives, and wishes all the people, players, coaches, volunteers and employees at Uddingston Hockey the very best for the 2022-23 season.
