Winners Announced of the Net Zero Technology Centre’s 2022 Open Innovation Programme
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the 20 winners of the Net Zero Technology Centre’s 2022 Open Innovation Programme; understands that the program was set up to provide £8 million in funding across 20 projects focused on developing and deploying technologies that will reduce offshore emissions, accelerate clean energy production, and enable the delivery of the UK’s net zero ambitions; notes what it sees as the importance of this funding in helping pioneering research and technology to pave the way to a sustainable energy future for the UK and the world; further notes that the Net Zero Technology Centre’s funding competition is set to open in January 2023, and will focus on digital and data architecture, smart assets, and field automation, and wishes all the winners and the Net Zero Technology Centre all the best for the future.
