Culture Asia Receives £10,000 to Celebrate 75 years of Pakistan in Glasgow

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Culture Asia in Glasgow on receiving £10,000 from The National Lottery Heritage Fund for their 75 years of Pakistan in Glasgow project; recognises that the project aims to celebrate 75 years of Pakistani migration to Scotland and the community’s cultural contribution to the country; acknowledges that this project will be delivered through a programme of activities aimed at the Pakistani community and the general public in Glasgow; celebrates the receiving of the grant, and looks forward to celebrating with the Pakistani people of Scotland.
