Seniors with Energetic Lifestyles, Newmains
The motion
That the Parliament commends SWELS (Seniors With Energetic Lifestyles), a seniors club based in Newmains, for organising an afternoon tea dance for members of the community; understands that members of the club look forward to meeting for chair aerobics every Monday, and Tai Chi every Thursday, and are in the process of organising their Christmas lunch; notes that SWELS were not able to meet over the course of the COVID-19 pandemic, but are now extending a warm welcome to new members from the community to socialise and meet new friends, and wishes SWELS all the very best for the future.
