90th Birthday of The Glasgow Guardian

The motion

That the Parliament celebrates the 90th birthday of The Glasgow Guardian; recognises that on 10 October 1932 the Gilmorehill Globe was created at the University of Glasgow; considers that this saw the beginning of 90 years of ambitious, creative and innovative student journalism; understands that The Glasgow Guardian remains committed to representing its student population by publishing exclusive stories and exposing life behind the scenes of the University, and gives thanks to all the readers, writers and team members of the past and present who have made this all possible.
