Memories of Seven Lochs Project Receives Funding from The National Lottery Heritage Fund

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Communities Past and Futures Society on receiving a grant of £61,555 for its Memories of Seven Lochs Communities: A People’s History project in Glasgow; celebrates the grant from The National Lottery Heritage Fund to cover 90% of the total project costs, giving an opportunity for people to volunteer, gaining professional training and practical experience, and understands that the project will carry out an intergenerational oral history project that will research, capture and disseminate the lived experiences of the people and communities of Seven Lochs as an area, which, it believes, has seen rapid change since the Second World War, and is an important part of the area's heritage.
