Renfrewshire Projects Benefit from National Lottery Heritage Funding
The motion
That the Parliament recognises that two Renfrewshire-based projects, Woven in Renfrewshire and Renfrew Heritage and History Group, have benefited from National Lottery Heritage Funding; understands that Woven in Renfrewshire, a project run by Fablevision, has been awarded a grant of £9,950 by the fund and that Renfrew Heritage and History Group project, run by Renfrew Development Trust, has received £9,820; celebrates that both projects seek to maintain Scotland’s cultural heritage as well promote unique local history that can be shared with the community as well as visitors and tourists; further celebrates that the purpose of National Lottery Heritage Funding is to support Scotland’s diverse heritage, and understands that it will continue in the future to be invested into worthwhile projects concerned with maintaining the country’s rich history and culture.
