BBC Asian Network Radio Celebrates 20th Anniversary

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates BBC Asian Network Radio on celebrating its 20thAnniversary; notes that the station went national on DAB Digital Radio in 2002and has an audience reach of 500,000 listeners; appreciates the work of theAsian Network and the role it believes it plays in championing British Asianidentity and music, positively showcasing the very best of Asian culture overthe last 20 years; supports the ongoing efforts of keeping future generationsof listeners engaged, and wishes the station every success for the future.
