National Lottery Heritage Fund Awards Grant Almost £10,000 to Burntisland's Military Past Project

That the Parliament acknowledges that National Lottery Heritage Fund has awarded a grant of £9,950, 100% of total costs, to Defensive Links: Burntisland's military past project, which is run by Wessex Archaeology Ltd in Kirkcaldy; understands that the 11-month project will engage 10 participants and their families with a community archaeology project, and then support them in undertaking individual research projects; notes that National Lottery Heritage Fund invests money raised by National Lottery players into museums, parks, historic places, archaeological sites, the natural environment and cultural traditions; wishes the Burntisland's Military Past Project and participants all the best for their community archaeology project, and thanks National Lottery Heritage Fund for investing in important local projects.
