Lanarkshire Novelist Lands Number One Bestseller on Amazon

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Bellshill novelist, Sophia Gravia, on landing a number one bestseller on online buying platform, Amazon; notes that Sophia's chart-topping novel, What Happens in Dubai, is her second release, following previous bestseller, A Glasgow Kiss; understands that Sophia is a trained nurse, and whilst working in the high dependency unit of Monklands Hospital during the COVID-19 pandemic, attended a wellness session with colleagues, which inspired her to find her passion in writing; believes that Sophia's novels have gained a cult-like following for their romantic comedy style, which portrays dating in the modern world as both outrageous and humorous, and wishes Sophia every success as she continues to pursue her passion for writing and works on the release of her third novel.
