Congratulating Renfrew Heritage and History Group
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Renfrew Heritage and History Group project run by Renfrew Development Trust on receiving a grant of £9,820 from the National Lottery Heritage Fund; understands that the National Lottery Heritage Fund is proud to invest in museums, parks and natural environments where historic archaeology can thrive; further understands that this covers the total running costs of a year-long project to create a new local history group to develop and deliver a range of activities focusing on the history of Renfrew; believes that this new project will be essential in educating the residents and visitors of Renfrew on what it sees as the wealth of the unique, rich and vibrant history within the area; congratulates the Renfrewshire Development Trust on the receipt of this award, and wishes it the best of luck in its upcoming projects.
