Fundraisers in Erskine Walk over Hot Coals

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates 35 participants who marched across 15 feet of hot coals at Erskine’s Veterans Village to raise more than £5,000; notes that this event was arranged with the help of Firewalk UK, ensuring the safety of all the participants; recognises that they raised money for the veterans of Erskine; believes that the veterans are a true inspiration when considering everything they have sacrificed and gone through; understands that the activity took place at Erskine Reid Macewen Activity Centre at the Erskine Home in Bishopton; understands that the Erskine catering team also provided a fantastic barbeque, which went down very well with all those attending; commends them on their achievement, and wishes them luck in any future fundraising endeavours.
