Team Raises £2,400 for the British Heart Foundation

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the team of fundraisers in Paisley that raised an incredible £2,400 for the British Heart Foundation (BHF); notes that the BHF funds medical research related to cardiovascular disease and raises awareness of heart-related conditions; understands that an event was held at Kennedys Bar on Causeyside Street where five bands played for an hour each, as well as a raffle with some excellent prizes; believes that everyone who attended the event had a great evening and were all very willing to donate; understands that this event was the first to be held for the British Heart Foundation in Paisley since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic and that, over the years, over £12,000 has been raised in support of the tremendous charity and the work it carries out, and commends the team on this fantastic achievement.
