Helen Cox Given Heart of Aberdeenshire Caring Award

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Helen Cox of Huntly, Aberdeenshire, on receiving the Heart of Aberdeenshire Caring Award at the Inspiring Aberdeenshire 2022 awards; understands that Helen has been described as “a genuine local champion” for efforts spanning nearly 50 years working with and supporting vulnerable children; further understands that this work entails providing short breaks and long-term care to looked-after children, including emergency placements, and making sure that the children enjoy a safe environment; acknowledges that Inspiring Aberdeenshire is designed to celebrate those people across Aberdeenshire who keep their communities thriving, and wishes Helen Cox every success with her work in the future.
