The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the gentle giant, Teddi, a German Shepherd from Grangemouth, in Falkirk, who has been appointed the "Ambassadog" for Glasgow’s Beatson Cancer Charity; recognises the hard work of the Beatson Cancer Charity in all they do to fundraise for and support Glasgow’s Beatson Cancer Centre; believes that this allows them to provide a world class service to cancer patients from their focus on patient wellbeing, to advancing clinical excellence and offering much-needed practical care and support to patients and families as they cope with their treatment; considers that the care provided at the Beatson would not be possible without the invaluable contributions of their highly-skilled and dedicated team of healthcare professionals that work tirelessly to provide person-centred cancer care; understands that Teddi’s owners, Kevin and Hazel, are delighted that their dog has been named as the Beatson Cancer Charity Ambassadog, and that this charity is important to them both; further congratulates Teddi, Kevin and Hazel for the work they are doing to raise awareness for this fantastic cause, and wishes them well for the future.
