Vale of Leven Hospital Worker Returns as a Volunteer Just a Week after Retiring
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Margaret Jack on providing care to the patients attending the Vale of Leven Hospital as part of the domestic staff before retiring; recognises that the 68-year-old returned just a week after her retirement as a volunteer to give something back to the health service after 20 years of employment at the hospital; notes that she has a befriending role within the elderly care rehabilitation unit, helping to keep patients’ spirits up, and reassuring and comforting them while they receive treatment and support; thanks Margaret for her hard work, and wishes her continued enjoyment within the role.
