Port Glasgow Resident Awarded the President Award by Poppy Scotland
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Mrs Kitty Ramsay of Port Glasgow on being awarded the President Award at the Poppy Scotland parliamentary reception; notes that the President award is Poppy Scotland’s highest honour; understands that it recognises exceptional volunteering services to the charity; notes the huge contribution that all Poppy Scotland volunteers make, and praises Poppy Scotland for its ongoing work in relation to providing support for current and former members of the Armed Forces as well as their families in a range of different areas.
