National Care Service Viability

As an amendment to motion S6M-06523 in the name of Craig Hoy (National Care Service Viability), leave out from “and calls for” to end and insert “; considers that the sector cannot afford to wait years for the wrong solution in the form of a ministerial takeover of local services, and calls for the Scottish Government to instead move quickly to set national standards and entitlements for users to drive up the quality of care, and to reward staff with better pay, conditions and career progression through powerful national bargaining.”
