Aberdeen International Airport Ranks Top 5 in UK for Sustainability
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Aberdeen International Airport being named as the fifth most sustainable airport in the UK by global sustainability organisation GRESB; notes that Aberdeen International Airport was ranked the seventh most sustainable in the EU and 12th globally; understands that GRESB marks each participating company out of 100 and that Aberdeen scored 90, with the average of participating companies was only 79; further understands GRESB data is used by hundreds of capital providers and thousands of asset managers to benchmark investments across portfolios and to better understand the opportunities, risks and choices that need to be made as the industry transitions to a more sustainable future, and applauds all of the staff working at Aberdeen International Airport for all of their hard work and what it sees as their commitment towards sustainability and climate change goals.
