Armed Forces Personnel Receive Awards from Lord Lieutenant

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates seven Army Reservists, an Army Reserve civil servant and five Cadet Force Adult Volunteers on receiving the Lord-Lieutenant’s Certificates of Meritorious Service from Colonel Peter McCarthy; recognises that these are exceptional honours throughout the Ministry of Defence; considers that reservists go above and beyond in their commitment not only to their units but also to their communities and that the wealth of skills that they develop are exceedingly valuable in the world today; understands that the Cadet Force Adult Volunteers devote their time to provide what it sees as an outstanding experience for the young people in their care, and commends these members of the community on these excellent achievements.
