Celebrating the Highlands and Islands Food and Drink Awards 2022

The motion

That the Parliament celebrates the winners of the 2022 Highlands and Islands Food and Drink Awards; understands that the awards, now in their 17th year, highlight the very best products, food and drink experiences, retailers, and businesses in the Highlands and Islands; recognises that the awards host a total of 15 categories with winners ranging from whisky distillers to seaweed crisp producers; appreciates that the awards made their return this year after a two year absence due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with a record number of entries; congratulates all winners and nominees on their achievements, and thanks the organisers for showcasing what it considers an incredibly impressive food and drinks industry in the Highlands and Islands.
