Hydro Ness Claims Second Prestigious Award
The motion
That the Parliament celebrates the success of the Hydro Ness in being named small project of the year at the British Construction Industry Awards; recognises that the award came just days after the renewable energy installation was commended with merit at the national Structural Steel Design Awards; understands that the Hydro Ness, which was officially opened in summer of 2022, generates green electricity for the nearby Inverness Leisure Centre, and is expected to reduce carbon emissions by over 140,000kg per annum; congratulates the Hydro Ness and all those involved in bringing the project to life on their success, and wishes them well going forward.
