NHS Golden Jubilee Board Chair Wins at the Scottish Women’s Award
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Susan Douglas-Scott, who has been the Board Chair of the NHS Golden Jubilee in Clydebank since 2018, on winning in the Inspirational Leader category at the annual Scottish Women’s Awards; notes that the event has run for four years, with the aim of recognising and celebrating Scottish female talent; understands that the awards were held in Glasgow on the 27 October 2022, where many female entrepreneurs, professionals, businesses, civil servants, and sports stars gathered to acknowledge their success and contributions to society; recognises what it sees as the great work that Susan has done across various organisations to promote diversity and equalities, including her 18-year career in local authorities and Non-Government Organisations, such as her role as Co-Founder of Celebrate People, a pastoral care organisation, CEO of PHACE Scotland, Epilepsy Scotland, and the Health and Social Care Alliance; applauds Susan for this brilliant achievement, and wishes her all the best for the future.
