Cowal Elderly Befrienders Win Age Scotland Award

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Cowal Elderly Befrienders on winning the Patrick Brooks Best Working Partnership Award at the Age Scotland National Awards; understands that this comes in recognition of the amazing work it does to support older people and carers in the community; notes that this work was particularly impressive during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic when Cowal Elderly Befrienders continued to ensure that support was offered to those who were unable to leave their homes, and hopes that this recognition is met with a great deal of pride by all involved.
