DMG Services Group Ltd receives Services to the Community Award

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Bellshill based DMG Services Group Ltd on winning the Services to the Community Award in the NFRC Scottish Roofing Awards, which was held on 28 October 2022; understands that the Scottish Roofing Awards, which returned after a two year hiatus caused by COVID-19, shines a light on individual roofing skills and projects undertaken by Scotland’s roofing industry, celebrating the best of roofing, cladding and rainscreen projects; further understands that the judges considered criteria such as quality workmanship, innovation and supply chain management and responses to project challenges; notes that DMG Services Group Ltd received the Community Award for the DMG Academy, which, it understands, has been established to train the next generation of tradespeople, providing apprentices with the tools, training and development that they need to grow into skilled roofing tradespeople and respond to what it sees as a growing skills shortage, and wishes DMG Services Group Ltd continued commercial success.
