Scottish Borders Council Becomes Centre of Excellence for Digital Training

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the Scottish Borders Council on becoming a centre of excellence for digital learning through its accreditation as Apple’s Professional Learning Provider; welcomes reports of the successes that the council has found from its Inspire Learning Programme, which, it understands, will help support further education technology projects across the UK; considers that, as the Scottish Borders is one of only two Apple Professional Learning Providers in the UK, it is in a unique position to deliver learning in Scotland, and believes that the new Inspire Academy offers the Borders an exciting opportunity to take a key role in influencing the future development and delivery of digital education across Scotland and the rest of the UK.
