Two Deli of the Year Awards for Billington’s of Lenzie

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the team at Billington’s of Lenzie on their fantastic achievement of winning two Deli of the Year 2022-23 awards at the joint Scotland Prestige Awards and Corporate Livewire Golden Globe Awards; understands that both awards were presented at a glittering ceremony in Edinburgh on 16 October 2022 to recognise the best of Scotland’s small and medium-sized businesses; delights that family-owned Billington’s received these awards in its 10th anniversary year; acknowledges that this follows on from the local Artisan Deli winning Best Specialised Retailer at Scotland’s Business Awards 2021; commends Billington’s for clocking up a decade of exemplary customer service in the Strathkelvin and Bearsden constituency and for its always warm welcome to visitors; acknowledges its continued work with Scottish suppliers of fine food and beverages to provide customers with a fantastic choice of locally-produced fayre, and wishes the dedicated and professional team at Billington’s continued success for the future.
